Hi, gang! Guess what?
Three new Original Art Pieces Just Dropped!
They're all 8x10" ink & wash illustrations on bristol paper. This was a fun batch: it features a brand new character (who will feature heavily in the backup story), Magpie's ship, 'The Corvid', and a nice shot of Tanager with guns blazing.
All available as ADD-ONS! I'll have one last batch of these next week for you.
AND... there's a COMMISSION SLOT Available?
Someone adjusted their order yesterday and gave up a commission slot, so if you missed out on DAY ONE and you're FAST, you can jump in and grab it.

Hi, all! I'm BACK with another DEATH TRANSIT update!
FIRST! Posters!
The votes are in on the fold-out posters and you guys have chosen the ISSUE 3 Cover A as the runaway favourite. There were some great suggestions for other concepts, though (I'm seriously thinking of doing a spaceship cover now).
These posters are FREE for all physical tier backers!
SECOND: Trading Cards!
We've hit the $45K STRETCH GOAL and that means I'm going to be producing a new DEATH TRANSIT TRADING CARD set!
I've always loved collecting cards. I have Pokemon cards, Marvel cards, Star Wars cards. I have sports cards, and I don't even care about sports. I just like collecting. :)
So I'm excited to have my own set of DEATH TRANSIT TANAGER cards. The way I'm building the set is: I'm devoting 18 cards to each of the three issues so far. They'll feature characters, creatures, ships, and have descriptions and fun factoids on the back. And when each successive issue comes out, I'll add a new 18-card expansion to the set.
Every backer of a physical reward tier will get THREE free random cards with their comics. If you'd like the whole set, you can get it all wrapped up and ready to go in the ADD-ONs section.
THIRD: NEW STRETCH GOAL UNLOCKED!
This is a big one! At $50K I'm going to make a T-SHIRT available! I've had a bunch of requests for this one, so hopefully we can get there! I'm working on a few designs but ultimately I'll leave the choice to you guys in another round of voting. Stay tuned!
If you already have ideas for DEATH TRANSIT T-shirts, let me know and I'll consider them for the voting round!

The guys at ICONIC COMICS have been a constant inspiration in their handling of self-published, crowd-funded comics here on Kickstarter. Their books are high-quality and their service is amazing. They've done 10 Volumes of KAMEN AMERICA, and this OMNIBUS edition is excellent in every way. CHECK IT OUT HERE!
DRIFTER: OMNIA
My pals IVAN BRANDON and NIC KLEIN are Kickstarting a complete collection of their amazing sci-fi series, DRIFTER, and it's amazing.
What more do I need to say? If ROBERT KIRKMAN digs it, I'm sure you will, too.

FREE POSTER for ALL PHYSICAL BACKERS!
That's right! We hit the $40K Stretch Goal today, which means that I'm going to make a fold-out poster for everyone backing a physical tier. It'll be 4X the size of the comic itself. But it gets better, because YOU GET TO CHOOSE WHAT IT IS!
The poster will be one of the three covers of this issue, but you can VOTE HERE to decide which one it'll be (or suggest something completely different)!
I'll post the winning entry later in the campaign!
NEW STRETCH GOAL UNLOCKED!
Next goal is $45K, which I'm pretty sure we can hit without too much trouble. I hope so, because I really want to make a TRADING CARD SET! It'll be three parts of a larger set, containing cards from issues 1, 2, AND 3, and continuing on after that. I'm a sucker for card collecting (don't make me pull out my 90's Marvel cards), so I'm excited for this!
NEW ORIGINAL ART PIECES UP FOR SALE!
As promised! More art pieces dropped today! I finished these up over the weekend and they turned out really well. I know a lot of you missed out on these on Day One, so here you go! Available as ADD-ONS in the campaign!

I discovered that fellow Canadian SIMON ROY is ALSO running a Kickstarter campaign for his newest graphic novel, 'A STAR CALLED THE SUN'. I've been a big fan of Simon's for years, and we coordinated to offer SECRET Reward Tiers for each others' backers.
SO, if you follow this secret link, you'll have exclusive access to his 'GODS OF JURADO' comic, which isn't available anywhere else in the campaign.

Announcing Stretch Goals!
We've broken the fulfillment barrier, which means it's time to start unlocking all of the extra goodies! As we reach the various funding goals, I'll make available a bunch of free DEATH TRANSIT items and fun merch. For every one we reach I'll reveal the next mystery goal.

I've nearly sold out of the DEATH TRANSIT skull patches, but I've updated the Add-Ons sections with some other cool stuff...
CEDAR FOREST IDIOT CLUB patches, from the Abominable Kickstarter campaign! Only 25 of these left!
I have limited sets of variant covers I've done for various publishers - Marvel, DC, Image, IDW - that are usually difficult to obtain because they're ratio variants (1 in 50, etc). I thought it would be fun to make them available here. I'll drop different sets on different days, so you never know what you're going to find. Be on the lookout for TRANSFORMERS, GIJOE, GOTHAM ACADEMY, BATMAN, ISOLA, and lots more! They'll ALL ship with signatures!
